Mr. Bhandari was honored to chair his first End of Year & Beginning of New Year Linover Community Association(LIA) Executive Board Meeting on December 9th,2014 as its newly elected president. The board mapped out a year long events-- Easter Egg Hunt/ Bunny Visit Steam Clean Up, Dumpster Day, Earth Day, Restaurant Night Out, Yard Sale, National Night Out Community Cook Out, Halloween Parade/ Costume Contest, Food/ Toy Drive, Christmas Activities(to name few)--- and passed its budget for the year 2015 after the meeting that lasted for three hours. He was very happy that the board voted for continuation of Scholarship Awards, the Best Citizenship Awards, the July 4th Independent Day event, plus added few new programs to help our local schools despites of the financial challenges on operating so many events that have been a tradition and a pride of our community since 1960s. he thanked all who signed up for different roles of co-ordinating and volunteering LIA events that help the community move forward..
